40 Years of Bmx

Hadn't seen the OM, Scot Breithaupt in a few years. He helped me setup the displays and let me ride his new OM Flyer. Great day, great event. I hope everyone comes out for this, it is going to be worth it.

RAD:: Production Notes and Folder

I just acquired this RAD folder with production notes and 6 - 8x10 glossy' s. The notes are basically a recap of the originators vision for the film along with bios and other events that happened during the filming. One thing I had forgotten was how miserable the weather was prior to shooting the Hell Track scene. It was really cold and we had to remove our coats during the filming so it looked nice out. We actually had to go buy winter coats at a mall in Calgary. The crew also painted leaves green because they looked too fall. I posted this on my FTP for everyone to read. I thought it was pretty interesting.

HellTrack photos just found

My grandma was cleaning out some old stuff and found these photos of us on the set at RAD. This shot is of Everett Rosecrans and it looks like Scott Clark in the back ground.

This shot is Everett in the foreground with Eddie Fiola in the blue shirt. I am in the yellow shirt and my brother is right behind me showing off his muscles. The guy behind us is Hal Needham and it looks like Bill Allen' s nose behind him. Checkout that nice Mongoose at the bottom of the photo.

Bill Allen Update

Just got off the phone with Bill Allen. He is headed to Pennsylvania next week to start the filming of Accelerate! Read more about it.

RAD Museum is on tour, really looking forward to this...

It is official... themovierad.com will be displaying some memorabilia at the event in Long Beach. We are really excited to be sharing some cool stuff in such a great event. Stay tuned as details are becoming more clear.

Bart Taylor - THE MAN

We recreated this classic from RAD. It is seen randomly in the movie and never really got a lot of play. We thought it was pretty cool so here you go. They are in the store now along with some other cool stuff. Shop

Mini RAD

This might be one of the craftiest RAD fans ever. Marc Dewey has recreated Cru and his bike from a stock Flick Trix Mongoose and clay. Pretty impressive work and I especially like the realistic backgrounds.
