RAD:: The Movie Script
Sam Bernard was extremely generous to send me a copy of his original script from August 1985. This is the holy grail of RAD so I am sharing it with you. For the first time ever you can read the entire script of the movie. I stayed up late getting through it and found it fascinating. I will not be distributing any copies so now is your chance to see it.
RAD on Beta...I feel old
It really was released on Beta, and these are super rare to find. Jason was cool enough to send me a photo of his but won't part with it yet. I'll keep trying.

RAD:: Original Lobby Cards
Here's a little history about lobby cards. They are like posters but smaller, usually 11" × 14" (but also 8" × 10" before 1930). Typically issued in sets of eight, each featuring a different scene from the film. My cards are 11x14 and actually numbered individually 1-8 with a serial of 860047 on each one. I scored a set of eight and thought you would like to check them out.

RAD Filming Locations
This might be the coolest thing I have seen yet for RAD fans. This guy Andy Dewey via Cochrane Kurt just sent me a link to a Google Map where he documented alot of the filming locations by scene. Very cool job and very interesting to checkout. I haven't personally verified these, but I think they got it right. If you click on the item there are alot of before and after photos. Andy did a ton of work to pull this off.

The Fire Truck From RAD
My friend Kurt from Cochrane was cool enough to take these shots for me. This is the actual fire truck used in the movie at the beginning and during the parade. It is still in Cochrane and gets to make appearances from time to time. There are several more shots so click on this and scroll through the gallery. Thanks alot Kurt.

RAD 25 Year Reunion?
Sounds like a group of RAD enthusiasts from Cochrane, Alberta, Canada are beginning to put one together. A good majority of the movie was filmed there. I will keep you updated as this progresses. I'm in, good times up there.

I couldn't believe it...Sam Bernard?
Yesterday I received an email from Sam Bernard. Who is that you ask. Well he happens to be the guy that wrote RAD! I thought this guy was untouchable, but turns out he is really cool. He asked me to make one correction to the site in return he would send me a copy of his bound script. Done. So cool, can't wait to get it.

HellTrack in 3D
I thought this might be cool to show. Not the best at 3D rendering but Sketchup makes it look pretty cool. If you can enhance it let me know. You can now view the file here or search the 3D warehouse. Otherwise this is a recreation from photos and memory, I even got fancy and dropped in the Bowness Park, Calgary location . Remember that this track was not able to be ridden from start to finish.
